I have problem, my computer cannot detect any USB sticks, at first I though it is my USB,
Hello!
I have really big problem on my computer that I cannot recover it. Because the SQLSvc account has change, Cisco Call Manager-related services and SQL-related services that start concurrently with the SQLSvc account do not start anymore, and you see Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) errors in your event viewer.
DCOM got error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." and was unable to logon .SQLSvc in order to run the server: {4A783AD9-930D-4C6D-BAED-F9852EAAEB0D}. Error: SDIControlLayer for Cisco Messaging Interface application is attempting to connect to database.Could not start the Cisco Music on Hold (MoH) Audio Translator service on local...

Even if I use IE 8, or Firefox 7 I still get some message that Facebook is inaccessible. It is only the site Facebook that I cannot access all others I can access normally.
It’s been days now and I still cannot access the site even though in other computers I can access with no problems. I already did some virus scanning with different anti-virus makers yet no signs of...
I cannot log in to my Windows 7 account. My wife accidentally changed my login password and now I cannot log in since I don’t know the password and she forgot it too. The problem is I have been looking around for the installation CD and just couldn’t find it anymore.
I need this to reinstall Windows 7 to reset the current configuration. I don’t want to format my hard disk because I have so many important files on it. Is there...
Read moreI want to hide my drive c: from the view on My Computers. I have some personal and sensitive data on the drive which I don’t want my 14 year old son to access.
Not only cannot be viewed but shouldn’t be accessible either through any browsers like IE or Firefox or Google, windows explorer.
Even searching files on it shouldn’t be shown like it doesn’t exist.
Only I can access it either through some password or some key combination with a password.
Is this a registry issue or software solution?
If a software application is there a free...
Read moreI want to change the location of Documents and Settings to a different drive.
The default location under Windows XP is under C:Documents and Settings.
I need to transfer my user data which is located at c:Documents and SettingsMaster to a different drive altogether.
Is there a way to do this without inviting errors and system conflicts?
I know there is a way to move the default location of My Documents to a different folder/drive, but I am talking about the
Documents and Settings” folder where the user desktop settings, temp, data, application files are automatically stored by Windows XP.

Long vertical green dollar lines about 4 or five of them on the screen. There are other white spots too appearing and little yellow dots.
I restarted the computer and these characters don’t appear on boot up only when it loads to the windows desktop. I tried to start in safe mode, and it doesn’t show anything abnormal.
This only shows when I’m in Windows itself, in the desktop, when browsing,...

I have this problem with the fans inside the cpu. Just lately when I did a shutdown of my computer and the monitor did shut down and so was the computers’ led lights, I notice there was still some sound coming from inside the computer and when I opened up the case, I found out that the CPU fan and the case fans were still running although the computer was already turned off.
The PSU fan was not running yet both the case and cpu fans were still turning!! I tried waiting for it to turn off by its own...
Read moreJust want to ask if the processor pins are bent- can it be fixed? I have a Gigabyte G31 motherboard that was borrowed by my cousin, and when he returned it, it wouldn’t run anymore. i tried swapping out good known CPU but still the same.
There is power to the board but if I try connecting the power cord for the processor nothing happens. So i tried checking the pins, and a few were bent. So is there anyway to fix this? Or should i get a new mobo or processor?
Thanks!
