I understand that a laptop takes a lot of power and can feel warm, but my laptop actually feels hot to the touch. I don't think there is an issue with the vent, but there is definitely something happening and I'm getting concerned. I rarely actually use it on my "lap" but while it is sitting on my desk, I can feel the desk getting hot. What should I try first to see what the issue is? Thank you.

I purchased a new laptop and it randomly shuts down when I'm working. Sometimes it happens a couple times a day, sometimes not for a few days, but it does keep happening. I'm not sure what to do to troubleshoot before I would attempt returning it. I have tried restarting but at this point I'm guessing it needs returned. Any advice? Thank you.

The new Electrohome USB Clock is extraordinary. It has excellent features like, time projection on the ceiling and the feature of alarm but I am facing with the USB charging in it. When I charge my phone in it then it charges very slow and gets heated up. I have tried replacing the USB wire but the problem is not erasing. What can I do to it. I had bought it on amazon and I do not want to return it because of it merits. Any suggestion regarding my issue are welcomed.

I purchased a laptop about 3 months ago, and the screen just goes black on occasion. I have had my Asus laptop for about a year, and within the past day or two I have noticed the speakers are not working. I have checked the volume settings and I am definitely not on mute and the volume is turned up high. I used to see the "beach ball" on my Mac on occasion, but now it is there almost constantly. I checked activity monitor but nothing is showing too high of a % out of the ordinary. I'm not sure if this could be the symptom of a larger issue or not. Is it possible I need more memory? Any other troubleshooting tips? Thank you.

A friend of mine told me to run a battery diagnostic on my Dell laptop and I don't know how to do this. He tried explaining but I can't seem to follow. Can anyone explain how to run a battery diagnostic?  What exactly would a battery diagnostic show if I do run it? Thanks.

Hello, I have a Dell laptop and there should not be issues seen with the battery yet because it isn't that old, but the battery will not power my laptop very long without needing plugged in. I've tried removing a USB if I'm using it, etc. but that doesn't seem to help.  Are there any other ideas or troubleshooting tips I could try, or is it probably just a bad battery? Thank you.
