At home I have two computers running on windows XP. Previously, the connection had no problem at all. Now, I encountered this problem which is difficulty connecting it to the LAN network I was using before. I have tried several things but I can neither share files nor gain access to the other computers in the LAN.  To Ping the client IP is not an issue but for the host address IP it is a different situation. Please help me solve this issue.

When I try to configure my laptop to a certain wireless router WRT54G, I don’t notice any light on the ports although I notice other lights. Why is it so?

I have tried to reconfigure the router to the laptop after having all the cables unplugged but this had no impact at all as I still get the message stating that there is no internet connection available. I am starting to wonder if this is due to a reinstallation of Windows Vista that I did some time back then because the problems developed since then. Please help.

We have a situation in our workplace whereby the Mac clients that are using Entourage and outlook are having delays when receiving some mail unlike their counterparts who are using regular computers. The delays usually range from a few hours to even a whole day. The mac users run either Entourage EWS or Outlook 2011 and they are few in number. The strange thing is that no delays occur at all when receiving that particular mail in their iPhones via OWA. Not even deleting and reconfiguring their Outlook and their Entourage accounts eased the situation. Someone please help me...

Outlook is currently not running properly in my computer. When I close it by clicking on the red button at the top of the page, the window disappears from the screen but not the same can be said of its taskbar which persist for a long time while greyed out. I have no clue as to what is causing outlook to hang instead of closing, so I am looking forward for anyone who could assist me in this problem.

Does anyone know whether I should partition my hard disk before I install a new OS or can this be done after installation? I have a machine with a 500GB hard disk and I am looking to partition it into 100GB and 400GB in which my data will be stored and the other 100GB for the OS such that I have the ability of reinstalling the OS if such a situation that calls for this action arises, without having to lose data in the process. Your suggestions are welcome.

I have tried synchronizing my Google accounts between my phone and computer with no success. I want everything synchronized that is the contacts calendar emails and the others. I have gone to the extent of reprogramming my Google accounts after deleting it formatted the phone and then rebooted it and even acquired a new phone in fact two of different makes but all these were just wasted efforts. This has been going on for a number of months and I am now fed up with this. Is there someone out there that knows a solution to this problem?  

There is a certain situation with my phone that is threatening to render its principle function of making calls useless. This is because I have no contacts at all thanks to a synchronization of contacts I was carrying out. The synchronization program stopped abruptly and since then it has been problem after problem. However I did not get any synchronization error messages. The synchronization icon just greyed out together with the other related symbols in the notification bar. I have even tried deleting some info from the contacts storage and even pulling some from my Gmail account but all...

Please consider helping me on this situation. In SBS 2003 exchange server wherein some outlook users are connecting to it via a Microsoft exchange server address that looks like MyExchange.local. When you try to configure an iPhone to this network it fails to access to .local.

How will you solve this problem? Your response would really be helpful. 

I have been approached by a certain client who wishes to transfer some Lotus notes to hoisted Exchange. The problem is that I have no idea at all as I am not familiar with Lotus. To be honest, I have never seen it let alone use it.

Can one prevent the update of let’s say my contact information role from editing some attributes at the same time having other attributes updated? For example updating the contact information fields such as the address but not having a change on the alias. I am aware that the whole of the ECP can be permitted or denied but I am interested if this also applies to some of its parts/feature.
