i just installed windows 7 and i can not install software that worked on windows 98, vista and XP , either from an installation cd or from a hard drive. When i run the stup.exe the pc turns for a while, and then nothing happens, no error message and no installation. 

can any one tell me what to do?? thanks a lot!

i am creating a copy of a dvd with nero 7 as i used to, BUT! for the first time when burning a message tells me the volume on my dvd is too large excess of 5GB!! how an original dvd can have more than 4.7GB?? i do not understand!!

i run an update of my system but i have turned off my pc before the end of update. and after when i turn on my pc it tells me that the following file is missing or damaged "windows/system32/cofig/system" .and then it asks me to do a repaire by inserting the windows xp original cd.but i don't have the original copy.

what should i do please??

For several days when i want to start windows the following message :

When I accept the verify it hangs at some point, then nothing and I cannot access to Windows.

I did a Windows repair but it has not detected any error.

If I cancelled the audit nothing happens either.

I have been using Firefox for a while now. I have noticed that Firefox saves my password without asking or taking permission. I do not understand this problem. I have around 50 GB space in a drive yet each time I try to install any software in this drive it shows "Not enough disk space" message. If someone knows the solution please help me get rid of this problem.
