I recently upgraded to Autodesk Revit 2012 and when I attempted saving a family in Revit 2012, I get an error message stating that a file was not found and this is followed by "File not Saved". The complete error message is shown in the screenshot attached. I tried to find out what is causing this error and I was informed that this error is given when a parameter begins with a decimal. I am trying install AutoDesk Revit 2013 using the install now option provided in the downloads section of the site. The installation fails with a communication failure error as shown below. I tried disabling my firewall temporarily proceeded to install. Here again after a while I get this communication error. I tried to download the file using download now having installed the download manager prior to its download. I launch the installation and still this fails after a while. I face an issue with the files sent through Skype. These files would not open and give an error message that says the file cannot be accessed because it is being used by another process. I am not using any Bluetooth device with Skype, and I fail to understand what causes this error. I encounter this registration failed error whenever I try to install MapSAR on a computer running ArcGIS 10.1. The complete error message is shown in the attached screenshot below. I tried installing several times and this error gets repeated always. Why am I getting this error when MapSAR is said to work with any license level of ArcGIS 10 for Desktop. I tried to perform an upgrade on Adobe Muse on my OS X 10.8.2 machine and got an error saying that there is problem with the installer. I tried upgrading a couple of times and abandoned it to try an installation from the scratch. Here again I face the same installation error. Reading this error message got little confused. I updated my system with new Antivirus software that was pretty good. After some research find out this error might be because of incorrect permission on the registry key or its parent container. Any change in antivirus software can trigger this kind of error, not sure. Please help me to find the solution.

I am trying to create an administrative connection on ArcGIS Server 9.3 using ArcGIS Desktop version 10 and an error message is returned that says it is not possible to create administrative connection using older versions of ArcGIS Server. What should be done now? Is it necessary to upgrade the server or is there any other work around to fix this compatibility issue? I can forward publish from ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 to ArcGIS Server 9.3.
