I currently bought a new surplus system for my sister. It is a Pentium 4 3.2, 80gb.

1.25Gb, fx5500 and used my previous DVD Writer (Samsung writemaster) from my other rig that is an AMD Phenom II x2 550 BE, 4gb, 780G, 4670.

And the problem is.

It can't read my DVD's burn from my AMD rig. What could be the cause?

Is it my Processor?

Or my Motherboard?

I have a Samsung CD rom drive.

I used to play cd’s on that drive but starting last week up to present, it won’t play any CD.

Worst, there’s a loud noise on my drive.

Sometimes it ejects on his own.

I can see the CD is still turning when it ejects.

Please help.

Can you please help me regarding .cvs files? If you scroll through it, the error will just pop up that says, "Microsoft Office Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close” and out of the application. My computer system has 2GB RAM with Office 2007 installed on it and some add-ons like Excel Visual Studio Design, Time Adaptor, Access Data Transfer, and TFC Office Shim. This only happens with .cvs files. I don’t want to convert the .cvs files to .xls, Can you please help me on this?

I am really confused on what does “Login as the Administrator” means. Can anyone please explain this to me? And also, what does “Send Info” means in MS Word and MS Excel files? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am currently using MS Office 2003. I want to know if it’s possible to get an updated version of MS Word such as MS Word 2007 and leave the rest as it is. Can I just install the updated version of Word or do I need to uninstall the current version that I am using before installing the new MS Word 2007? Kindly please help me.

I’m having trouble with language settings on my Microsoft Office 2007. The language was set to Irish, so the thesaurus and spell checker won’t work with it.

I feel very bad because sometimes my spelling in English are wrong and I can’t correct it. Can you please help me on how to change the language settings to English in all of my MS Office programs?
