I am using Microsoft windows xp professional edition. I am good in customizing my desktop for better look and feel. I followed a tutorial showing me how to replace my boot screen using bootskin software. That software worked for me then i followed another tutorial on manually creating boot up screen of my own. I followed up the tutorial and edited ntoskrnl.exe file with resource intruder to change the screen shot.

I have downloaded latest penetration testing distribution gnacktrack same as backtrack but i am not able to configure network setting in VMware for this..

I tried creating host-only network connection and by using ethernet connection

In windows XP which i installed in VMware i am able to get connectivity without configuring anything and using nat

But in this i am not able to connect to internet. Is there any packages i have to install to get connectivity?

VMware don't have any guest installation software for my this version. Where can i get these from ?

I bought Lenovo Idea Pad before some months and it’s under warranty. I was playing a game named "GTA Vice City” on my laptop. After that whenever I try to use my key Shift + A it's typing a letter in small instead of capital A.

Problem solves automatically when I press ctrl key on my keyboard but again this starts at any time.

I want to know what are other possible problems about PC restart. I knew few tricks, solutions about PC restart but what if those options don't work out when I encounter the problem?
