I send email updates through my Excel application using Lotus Notes. I’m looking for a speedy and reliable means to make sure if the user is logged in to Notes. If the user is not logged into Notes before they make an action Excel waits for the user to log in to Notes.

Unluckily, Notes were sometimes begin 'under' Excel and all the user see egg timer cursor, and they believe that emailing is just taking a bit of time. Certain part of the process times out after 20 seconds or so and this creates an error in Excel. I...

Why is it that when I tried to open documents that I copied and pasted to Development server db from production server db  is giving error like “The server is not responding with this database, should notes need to switch to a duplicate or another server” , even though old documents opened correctly in the Dev database.

 I want a calendar outlook (populated in one application) to keep posted if a person is selected from a file (based from other application).

I have been thinking to do this for sometime and have hit a dead end as the existing information/knowledge is not adequate. I don't know how to use the WDS system to send the two applications or how to make the action essential to do this. Where will I’ll be connecting using the person UNID.

 My company just started using Quicker as a document depository. My first test was to figure out how to gathered existing document attachments for the change, but it can be made manually if necessary.
