I have a laptop that I use to watch movies on my TV.
By cons, when I close the lid, the screen goes black on TV.
So I can choose if I want the image on both screens or just the TV.

But if i can not close the screen, it's not convenient …
Anyone have a solution?

I reinstalled Windows XP on an external hard drive, which would be permanently connected to it with USB.

To do this, I created a bootable USB drive (from a CD) ,but when installing windows (blue screen with the loading of drivers below), once at "installing windows "I am entitled to a beautiful blue screen!

First of all,is my manipulation  feasible?
If so, where does the problem?
If not, do you have other solutions?

Since yesterday, my laptop has a problem with the screen. I normal use for example ,word processing or Internet browsing, when suddenly the screen went white. To “reappear"  the screen, I have to move a little screen, tilting a little less. I guess it just a connection problem of the screen.
My laptop is an HP dv5.

Is it serious? Any way to fix the problem?

I use the Epson Perfection 1660Photo.Clicking the shortcut Epson "SMART PANNELL, I get this message:" This application failed to start because, Ism.dll not be found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. After removing the program, and at its relocation, a warning issued to me: "Can notlauch E: ePRINT French setup.exe".

I click OK … still resettlement continues … like this: "Completing the Installation".

But the problem remains. I can not use my scanner.
