I am having a problem connecting using computer-to-computer networks. I have tried everything posted on this forum but the error messages still comes out. My sister has installed Snow Leopard from the same CD on a newer MacBook than mine and she had no problems connecting. Is this due to my older MacBook Pro? I would thankful for some assistance on this problem.

1.    A pop-up error message for Microsoft Office 2012 stating that an error has occurred and error report request to be send. This happens when on my Hotmail account to open an attachment with a picture every time. Microsoft Office 2012 pops up a window with photos of which I do not recognize as soon as I click other options.

The error message pops up again when I click out of it. The pictures come up again when I click on send or don’t send. I am forced to close my computer in order to get out of this repeating cycle.

I am working on a word document. I am using Office Word 2010. My work file is a 2003 word document with 150 pages (53,300 KB).

My mission is to convert the document to an acceptable format in Office Word 2010 from Word 2003.

The document contains publisher maps, contact information and procedures. It is an emergency procedure manual. It won’t let me update the original document but I have to update the key contact information always.

Hi there,

I'd heard about setting up Skype to check on an elderly parents house on a radio show. I'd really like to do that for my parents. How do I set up Skype so that I can check up on them once in a while? They are not good with computers.

Thanks techyv!

Hi experts,

I've been using my desktop for about 2 years, and I think that things are starting to get slow.

I've decreased the number of files on the hard drive, but are there any other things that I need to do to like "spring clean" my computer"?

Thanks in advance team.

Hi there,

My smartphone Nokia E63 usually has an icon for WLAN on the top when it is browsing the internet. I know it is off, when there is no icon (four little squares) on the top. That way I know I am not being charged for data.

Recently, I downloaded whatsapp, and it kept connecting to my cell network even when I logged off whatsapp. So, I deleted whatsapp, but now I can't get the icon on the top of the screen to disappear like before.

Hi there,

I keep losing my tab settings on IE9.  When I open up the browser it goes to a blank page even though I set it to go to cnet.com.

I close the browser after adjusting the settings, but then it goes to a blank page again!

What do I do to fix this?

Hi there,

I just have a short question.  What is the difference between a Dynamic Web Page and an Interactive Web Page?  I am building a new site for my sister-in-law for a small business that she owns.

Thanks!

With all the choices in the market today, it's hard to decide on which one to purchase. In that in mind, what are the advantages and disadvantages of  both Dell's AIO and Apple's iMac? Why is it that Apple iMac is much expensive than Dell XPS?

I personally find Blackberry phones with a bit of a complexity. Would this be the reason why some people veer away from the intimidating Blackberry and settle with the other much more friendly smartphones?
