In search of Blackberry for Dummies

I personally find Blackberry phones with a bit of a complexity. Would this be the reason why some people veer away from the intimidating Blackberry and settle with the other much more friendly smartphones?

To help you with your complexity problem, just search in an online search engine for “blackberry for dummies” and countless results will come up that should help you, such as the Blackberry for Dummies Cheat Sheet.

From observation and experience, I believe that people are staying away from the Blackberry because it just does not measure up to its competition. The Blackberry has not been adjusting to the shift in the smartphone industry. The IPhone and Android phones set the stage for the smartphone market with continuous improvements and innovation. While the Blackberry has made improvements in RIM (the operating system), there hasn’t really been anything “new” to attract people to Blackberry. An example of this would be the move to electronic keypad, of which Blackberry has not taken advantage of. Along with the lack of innovation, Blackberry phones seem to also lack performance. There have been numerous occasions that I have observed where the Blackberry has broken down a lot sooner than other phone, a very common problem being the roller ball breaking or sticking.
