My old crt monitor automatically turns off when booting Windows 7.

Please, help me.

My old CRT monitor automatically turns off, when booting windows 7. But when I'm using an older version of Windows, my monitor is working properly.

Is this a problem of incompatibility or something? help me guys.

I have encountered the same problem before. It's on the resolution. Your resolution is very high for your CRT monitor.  Just pick a lower resolution and the problem is solved. good luck!!

I agree with you, Mr. Jhune. Some old monitors may not be compatible in high resolutions for Windows 7 in modern LCD monitor.

Just try to use a lower resolution, that will fit to your display.

Thanks! but how can I change the resolution?  if I can't even boot Windows? It automatically shuts down, upon loading Windows.

In your case, I guess the only solution is to first connect  your system unit to a different monitor that supports higher resolution. Then change the resolution of your Windows.

Now try it again with our old monitor.
