Error in installing Calibre e-book Management

STEP1

Kindly check you have a Visual C++ redistributable 2008 for visual studio2008. If you don’t have one kindly get one or download it from this site that I will be providing.

The reason that you are having that error is because your window failed to update or there are corrupted registry keys in HKEY_local_machine Components

Now after Downloading and installing the program proceed to this next step.

STEP 2

Download this program named “Fix IT”. You can this on this link :

·         https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

After downloading it just run the program until it reach an error. Get the list of registry keys that this program will give you. * note you will not see any List if your registry keys are not damage.

Now after getting the list of registry key go there locations and delete them all. * NOTE again before removing the registry key make a back up of each of the registry keys. After making a copy of it and delete all the keys that the program give you.

After doing this install again the program that you are trying to install.
