I am trying to connect my ADSL modem with newly purchased D – link DIR-615 wifi router.
I have done with all connection as I have the diagram but why can I not have access to WiFi router homepage?

As you said that you have been provided a diagram for the connection so we hope that all connections are in place.
Now talking about some configurations for integration of modem and router you have to change the default IP's of both to two different subnets i – e suppose you can use 192.168.1.1 for the modem and 192.168.5.1 for the WiFi router otherwise there will be an IP conflict issue.
