Application Launch Error on RS2011 R1

I am getting “Application Launch Error” when running Real Software: Real Studio 2011 R1 on my Mac OS X 10.6.7. This error just pops up upon launching the application. What should I do with this? I need help. Thank you.

Application Launch Error on RS2011 R1

You are getting this error because either you have installed Real studio 2011 R1 over a previous version of Real studio which might be 2010R5 or some other. Try the following things.

1. Uninstall the application entirely. Remove all its plugins if you have any installed on your computer.
2. Use Ccleaner to clear all the extra and unwanted registry entries in your computer.
3. Reboot your system.
4. After rebooting, install the Real Studio 2011 R1. Restart again.

If it still gets the error message, just close your Real studio and delete the folder named appname.debug and then run the real studio again. It will work fine though there is a possibility that you get this error again in future but just perform the above step and you are ok.
