Got stuck with an IIS 7.0 Detailed Error 29001

Hi! While I am with the installation of the Vault Professional 2012 (Server) using my laptop, I unluckily come across with an error as shown in the picture below:

 

Autodesk Vault Professional 2012(Server)

Error 29001. Vault management error: IIS 7.0 Detailed Error –

500.19 – Internal Server Error

OK

What is the vault management error or internal server error in the Server edition of the Autodesk Vault Professional 2012?

What will I do to overcome this?

Greetings,

 

In some cases, the root cause of this error is the .NET Framework 4.0. Probable fix is uninstalling .NET Framework 4.0. Alternatively, you can configure the IIS Application pool, and use .NET Framework 2.0.50727, as shown below.

 

 

If the above suggestions didn't work, can you try re-registering ASP with IIS with the command below and re-install.

 

C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv2.0.50727>aspnet_regiis.exe -i

Hi,

You may do the following to correct your problem:

1. Surf the IIS configuration file located at: "C:WindowsSystem32inetsrvconfigapplicationHost.config" or use the search bar and type applicationHost. config

2. Edit the file applicationHost. config 3. On the line <section name=”requestFiltering” overrideModeDefault=”Deny”  />, change the “Deny” to “Allow”

4. The line should look like this:

5.Save and exit
