Microsoft Excel 2010 Error: General Mail Failure

Some people try to save & send their excel file but they get below mentioned image, general mail error. What must be possible reasons for this error? How to fix this error?

Microsoft Excel 2010 Error: General Mail Failure

Probable reasons for failure:

1) Outlook and Excel are open simultaneously.

2) Latest version of java is not updated.

3) Outlook registry may be corrupted. The above reasons may introduced above mentioned error. I would advise user to check for above reasons. Follow below steps:

• Exist outlook when you want to send email an excel file.

• Update your java version with latest one. You can go online for that  https://java.com/en/download/help/java_update.xml

• Try to repair Office 2010 manually. To repair navigate Control Panel->Programs->Programs & Features-> Select Office 2010 ->change and repair.
