How to sumarize pivot table data into Days of the week

I have data in a pivot table however, Im unable to summarize my data into days of the week and I have a list of date that I need to use to do this. Please assist on How I can program my data sheet to do this with ease. Is there a reference material that I can use?

Summarizing Pivot table data into days of the week is a very easy task once you understand how to handle Excel Pivot tables well.

• Select date > choose group > (set durations) > ok
• In order to summarize at the point of creating the pivot table,
• Click any cell > insert >pivot table > select the necessary fields and summarizing options > ok
