I am in desperate need of help. I need to convert VMware to VirtualBox. Any help from anyone will be appreciated.

Do You Want To Convert VMware To VirtualBox?

For this conversion, you must first export the VM in a .ovf file. For that, you have to open the VMware folder. Next, open the “OVFTool” folder and by right-clicking on it, open the command window.

Type the given command in the console; ovftool

"c:pathtooriginal_vm.vmx""c:pathtoexport.ovf"

Now, the VM will be exported as .ovf file to the marked destination. Next, open the VirtualBox and select “import appliance”.

Now, the “appliance to import” window will open. Here, select the .ovf file and press “next”. This will start the importing process. After the importing is done, you can see the imported virtual machine in the VM VirtualBox manager. You have successfully converted VMware to VirtualBox.
