Reason to use Java programming language to build Android apps

Why do the Android app developers use the Java language for creating apps? Why not any other language? What makes suing Java very important?

Reason to use Java programming language to build Android apps

Hi

Java supports a lot of APIs as compared to the other languages. Initially, even JavaScript and Python were considered as options to develop an Android app. However, Java was the ultimate choice, because Java can run on any machine because of the Java Virtual Machine or JVM as commonly known. Also, it provides various security features that prevent harmful viruses from easy access to the information/ data stored on the hard drive. Thus, JAVA is the best choice for Android app development programming language.
