MS-Word on Mac PC keeps on hanging

I am having issues with using MS-Word on my MAC book Air with OS X Lion. It keeps on freezing most especially when I am doing a lot of editing my documents. My computer has a high-capacity memory space and there is no other application running on the background. There is no error found, it just keeps on freezing and stop working. Please help.

MS-Word on Mac PC keeps on hanging

Hi Kristin,

If your computer has a good memory then the error could be occurring as a result of executing many applications at the same time, which take up a lot memory space hence slowing the down the computer.

Otherwise if you made any recent updates to your mac which had an effect of the ms office application, then the updates could have come with their compatibility issues that are making it stall when carrying out the processes. Check that and if there are any changes that you made in terms of updates that are causing your ms word to freeze, then you will just have to remove them by uninstalling them or using the system restore utility.
