Outlook 2007/2010 Not Able to Connect to Exchange Server

I am facing an issue linking to” Exchange Server” through outlook. I am receiving the below error however at what time I attempt to associate fresh Outlook email account in Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010? I need someone assistance please

The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.

Outlook 2007/2010 Not Able to Connect to Exchange Server

Hello,

The error message that you'r getting is because of default exchange server 2010 release to manufacturing. it requires RPC encrypted. Now first of all, Download the outlk12 admin. group template. Go to Microsoft site and look for it according to your machines configuration. Now after downloading outlk12. admin template, You need to add the template to the group policy editor. Go to user configuration expand classic , administrative templates, under the account settings,select exchange mode. Click on the enable rpc encyption–policy settings –click to enable the setting .

Now click run and type gpupdateon command prompt. It will update everything. If still you get this error ,Then please come -up with your computer's configuration.

Outlook 2007/2010 Not Able to Connect to Exchange Server

Hello Nathan!

May be solution provided by Mr. Garrison will be correct but I have faced this problem in my office twice.

1. I just made a backup of outlook database file.

2. Deleted all accounts associated with the Microsoft Outlook 2007.

3. Then again set my SMTP incoming and Outgoing servers as per my network.

4. Again associated my accounts with Microsoft Outlook 2007 and it started working.

NOTE: You can find your SMTP incoming and outgoing servers from your internet provider. I am using PTCL internet so my incoming server is SMTP.ptcl.net
