I was trying to sync. my Exchange Mail server with an offline folder of Outlook(.ost). But it shows an error in my unread e-mails. The error is the type error synchronizing folder outlook 2010.
Can someone tell me how to solve this issue?

Just follow the steps given below,and it will resolve your problem.
- In your Microsoft Outlook 2010, right-click on the folder “Unread Mail” and then click on “Customize This Search Folder…”
- In the Search Folder window, ensure that the field contains “Unread Mail” and then click on the button “Browse.”
- Then, in the window of Select Folder(s), uncheck all the folders exceptthe Inbox folder. If the user has created some rules that move all new emails into another folder, you might want to include them also. Whatever you do, just ensure that you uncheck the Sync Issues folder.
After you complete these steps, click OK. All the errors will be gone now.
