Unexpected error occurred in Dynamics Ax Enterprise Tools

Hi every one!

Lately while I was operating on Visual Studio 2008 with EP resources, I got a error notification-

“An unexpected error occurred in Dynamics Ax Enterprise Tools, You have to restart Visual Studio to use the Dynamics Ax Enterprise Tools ".

 I installed again the EP Tools and after I produced the Proxies servers from Characteristics Ax 2009 I noticed the below mistake “Invalid proxy generator command line.” Examined with Proxies servers directory from C:InetPubwwwroot..

But the directory is clear. Wish any one has confronted the difficulty and I hope will provide a suggestion. It will be great if you can kindly inform me as early as possible.

As you can understand, it’s a very serious problem. A screenshot is attached here for your convenience.

Unexpected error occurred in Dynamics Ax Enterprise Tools

If this is the first time you encounter this error when using Visual Studio 2008, try rebooting your computer then try it again. Maybe the program will work fine the next time you restart your system.

If nothing has changed after doing this, try doing a clean installation of the application again to restore it to its default configuration and remove possible corrupted files on its installation.

Uninstall Visual Studio 2008 and EP Tools from your machine then restart your system when asked. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install Visual Studio 2008 again after this. Install EP Tools next. Check it if it’s working fine.

You should also check if the version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 that you are using supports your operating system. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 works on Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, and Windows Vista operating systems.

If the problem persists, try upgrading your current version of Microsoft Visual Studio to a much higher version if it’s not possible to upgrade to the latest version.

You can try rebooting your computer and try it again.

But if it is not helping you then you can install SQL Server 2005 Customer Equipment straight into the Venture Web site server, it is possible to consider the following underneath guidelines to put in tools regarding SQL Server 2005 set up media disk or perhaps could download on the Microsoft Obtain Core.

Installing of SQL Server Mass media Hard disk drive;

1. Navigate to \Tools\Setup folder of the SQL Server set up media disk 1
2. Introduction SqlRun_Tools. MSI and mount consumer tools.
