Problem with my PS 3

I have a PS3 which is maybe 1 year old, it is showing some problems now.

When I try to play with it, it can't recognize the controller and sometimes it gets stuck. So I want to restart it.

Someone please help me with this problem.

Problem with my PS 3

Your problem is the usual problem gamers will encounter when it comes to Sony Ps3 Controllers. The controllers will be always unrecognized when the time comes.

Here’s what you need to do:

First, turn off your Sony Ps3 using the Main Power Button. (The Image indicates the Power button).

Then Plug in the controller using a USB port. (Or USB Cable).

When it's plugged in, turn on your Sony Ps3 using the Main Power Button.
(The image from Step 1 is the Main Power button).

When it’s finally booted up, press the PS3/Home button on the controller.

It will register the controller.

Once the controller is registered, unplug the USB Cable.

And the last step is to press the HOME BUTTON again.
