You get the error message – “a breakpoint has been reached” under different scenarios. I will help you to fix it.

Method 1

If you are using any third-party screensaver app, try to uninstall it and check whether you get this message or not. If you continue to get the error message, then install the app again. If you do not get the error message, you have to look for some other screensaver app.

Method 2

If you are getting the error after you recently installed any app on your PC, you have to uninstall it.

a. Press Windows + R.
b. Type appwiz.cpl and press enter.
c. Select your app from the list.
d. Click on uninstall.

Method 3

Update your Windows. Some people got this error message after a Windows Update, and then the error was gone after a subsequent Windows update.
