I was recommended to install Apple security latest update to increase security of my Mac OS X. I’m confused about the installation process. What is a PGP key?

PGP stands for Pretty Good Privacy, it was created in 1991 by Phil Zimmermann and is uses for data encryption and decryption computer program.

Mac also uses this for the data encryption and decryption. Only Apply can provide you with this key. If you purchased your MAC after 1-6-2011 and it didn't come with an installed Mac OS X then you are entitled to a free copy.

The process of installing Mac OS X is a very complex method how ever compared to the snow leopard it seems nothing.

I strongly recommend that you hire an expert and not try to do it yourself. I also warn you to not trust anyone on the internet. There is huge data on the internet that just tells you the wrong thing about installing Mac OS X.
