Hello,

Today I did the required updates for iTunes and now it gives me this error. I don’t know why it cannot create a secure network now and with the previous version I never had an error. If I press OK nothing is happen and I have to open iTunes again and the error pops up again. Can anyone help me to fix this error?

Thank you!

iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. A secure network connection could not be established. Make sure SSL 3.0 or TLS 1.0 is enabled in the Internet Options control panel. Then try again.

Hello,

There are several causes for this issue. These can be solved by following several steps.

First of all, make sure that your PC’s time is configured correctly because internet connection requires time match with the current one. If not matched, it identifies the connection as a malicious attack and blocks it.

Here is the steps to fix your time:

  1. Go to Start menu >> Control Panel >> Clock, Language, and Region.
  2. Click Date and Time.
  3. Open the “Date & Time” tab.
  4. Make sure that your time and date is accurate.
If not, press the button “Change date and time…” and change it.

Also, disable your firewall as it might be blocking the ways to the server.
