Fix Minecraft Launch4j Error Code

Every time you try to start the game this error occurs. The best way to fix this issue is to uninstall all instances of your Java first and then reinstall it. The error indicates that the Java Runtime Environment is corrupted. If the first solution does not work, then you can try changing the existing Minecraft file name extension from .exe to .jar.

Fix Minecraft Launch4j Error Code

It seems you are playing the Minecraft Java edition and that problem is not with the Minecraft game but from the Java Runtime Environment installed on your computer. Since you are playing the Java edition of Minecraft, make sure you have the right version of the Java Runtime Environment. By default, Minecraft ships with its own Java Runtime Environment.

Since the problem is with the Java Runtime Environment, you just have to reinstall the game to fix the problem with JRE. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select Minecraft from the list. Click “Uninstall” and follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan the computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This will remove everything the program created on your computer. After this, repeat the same steps to uninstall Java Runtime Environment. Once Minecraft and Java Runtime Environment are removed, open your web browser and download the free version of CCleaner and install it.

Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. Restart your computer then download Minecraft Java Edition after booting and install it. This should fix the problem. If you want to convert CCleaner to Pro, download the codes and follow the instructions. Note: beginning with Minecraft 1.12, Java Runtime Environment 8 is required to run the game.
