Error in Forefront TMG 2012

Error message has popped up during the attempt to join a Forefront TMG 2012 enterprise edition firewall to an Enterprise Management Server (EMS) managed array.

What is the reason for the messages? Is has failed to start after array join or an array disjoin. The message is 0xc0040431. The Operation failed. Fix the configuration, check alerts and try to restart the services.

Error in Forefront TMG 2012

Hello,

It is a software that is not activate on many Windows Server and many operating system. So, please check that, the forefront threat management gateway "Is supported your system ?". If you Installing other firewall software on a forefront threat management gateway server is not supported.

Make sure Forefront TMG 2012 services are installed on your computer. If this is a remote management computer or a dedicated Configuration Storage Server, you can only install the Administration add-on for forefront threat management gateway management. Forefront TMG is a server that joined to the domain.

On the other way to resolve this issue, make certain that forefront threat management gateway 2012 firewalls are all at the same service pack and update level before joining an EMS-managed array or creating a standalone array.
