I found an error in our laptop

Folders and the files within “Win32 config system” are crucial to the Operating System’s stability. If any file is damaged or corrupted you will likely receive error message. Luckily Microsoft has put the file to repair these problems on an installation CD that comes with your laptop.

Instructions

1.   Insert your windows CD to your CD-ROM/DVD-Writer

2.   Restart your computer

3.   Press and key to boot from CD. Press enter and make sure you see a Blue welcome setup screen.

4.    Enter on the setup screen; read the License Terms accept it by pressing F8.

5.   Select the windows installation you want to repair using your arrow keys.

6.   Repair by pressing R and windows will start to restore win32 system.

This technique is a little bit hard but working.

1. Insert Windows XP setup disc.

2. Boot the disc.

3. Now choose to run Recovery Console.

4. Start typing the following commands;

md tmp

copy C:windowssystem32configsystem C:windowstmpsystem.bak

delete C:windowssystem32configsystem

copy C:windowsrepairsystem C:windowssystem32configsystem

Be careful because if any of the commands’ character becomes changed, your Windows XP will crash for good.

Now attempt to start Windows.

If that doesn’t work,

1. From the Recovery Console, run these commands:

md tmp

copy C:windowssystem32configsoftware C:windowstmpsoftware.bak

delete C:windowssystem32configsoftware

copy C:windowsrepairsoftware C:windowssystem32configsoftware

Now your Windows must have healed.
