Why am I having problem with HiMachi?

I am using Himachi network and recently I am getting an error that it is not able to connect to the network adaptor.Do you guys know what may be the problem and how to solve this problem.)

There can be several reasons of not connecting to the network. You have to give a thorough look to the steps below because these steps will help you to connect to the network.

1. First of all make sure that your firewall is disabled.

2. Right click on My computer and go to Properties > Hardware > Device manager. Here make sure that Hamachi network adapter is enabled.

3. open Control Panel and select Network connection, here make sure that you can see Hamachi network by its name, not with Local Area Network. If there is only Local Area network, rename

4. Click on Start Button and select Run, Type Services.msc and hit enter. Make sure that Network Connection Service is running in services window.

5. If all upper solutions does not help you, then you can install WinSock fix. It will help you to fix the network registry error.

Why am I having problem with HiMachi?


If your Hamachi client can’t connect to the Hamachi network adapter, you may receive “Failed to connect to the adapter”. This means there is a failure in the Hamachi network adapter. First, try to uninstall and reinstall Hamachi. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Hamachi client among the applications and click “Uninstall”.

Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install Hamachi back. See if this works. You can also download the latest client from Hamachi VPN Client.

If this doesn’t work, try disabling your firewall if you are using a third-party firewall except Windows Firewall. Restart the computer then try again. See if it works. If this doesn’t fix the problem, right-click “My Computer” then select “Properties”. Go to “Hardware” tab and click “Device Manager”. On the next screen, expand “Network adapters” then manually enable the driver for “Hamachi Network Interface”.

After this, start Hamachi again then see if it works.
