I have a Dell Inspiron 15R laptop. It has 4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Disk space and it is running an i5 processor. I have installed two OS into it. It is running with Windows 7 and Linux. My problem now is, I want to remove the Linux OS without reformatting my device. How can I do that? Please send some help. Thanks.

Hello,

In order to remove the Linux installation from your PC, you should use EasyBCD.

1. Download EasyBCD.

2. After installing, open it.

3. From the left panel, click “Edit Boot Menu”.

4. From the list on the left side, select your Linux installation >> click “Delete”.

5. Click “Save Settings”.

6. From the left panel, select “BCD Deployment”.

7. Select “Install the Windows Vista/7 bootloader to the MBR” >> click “Write MBR”.

8. Restart your PC. This should boot into Windows 7.

Now, your Linux booting is off. If you wish, you can delete the partition(s) used in Linux to add to your Windows partitions and increase the size. You can do it from Disk Management.
