I have tried restarting the router, computers in the wireless network and also reinstalled all the drivers. But I am unable to connect to the Internet. I noticed that the TrendNet wireless chipset is displayed as “Atheros 5000” under the Device Manager. Is this causing the issue? Please help me resolve it.

Hi Genelyn,

Does your wireless card show a yellow question mark or a red x mark? You can try to update the drivers first to see if it will be displaying the correct name. If it does not display those markings, you may try to disable the wireless card by right clicking on the adapter then choose disabled. Once it is disabled, you may want to do a restart for the server to see the wireless card again. Once your computer is back on, you need to go back again to your Device Manager and see if the wireless card is now displayed properly. You can then check if you are able to access the internet.
