I have an HP laptop with an HP Laser 5210  printer. I've windows 7 operating system on my laptop.

This morning I come to print any document and nothing happen and also I select print in any app and nothing happens.

So I tried to print a test page and I receive the following error:

Printer Properties

Test page failed to print. Would you like

To view the print troubleshooter for  assistance?

Operation could not be completed ( error 0x0000007a).

Other computers on my network can print to it.

I tried to solve the error by the following steps:

1. I restart spooler and tried direct printing.  >> Nothing viewed.
2. I deleted all the printer drivers in printmanagement.msc  >> Nothing Happened.
3. I deleted all the files in the spool folder in system32. Nothing happen also.

The spool service starts and stops with no errors.

Any Help please ?

Hi Patti, your printer was locally connected to your computer but you can't print while other PC on your network can print to your shared printer. This is an instance wherein you have a corrupt print job queue and is preventing your printer to print or printer can't access the spool folder which is the printer temp files when printing.

Under C:windowsSystem32spool folder there is a folder named PRINTERS, you can delete all files in it or renamed it with oldprinter and then create a new folder and named it PRINTERS. In any case you can't access PRINTERS folder, just perform a CHKDSK on your drive C before deleting or renaming. Turn on your printer again and test print.
