Hi,

I have been using TagEditor for editing metadata of multimedia file formats to avoid editing the whole content. I was able to successfully edit one file but after that I got the error below. I then closed the program and then on opening again I still got same error. What can I do next?

I tried searching for the TagEditor program on the web or any applications similar to the one you are using but unfortunately I cannot pin down the exact software. Since you were able to successfully edit one single file, you need to check if the other files you want to edit are also in the same format.

It seems that the problem pops up after trying to load a file. It is possible that the file is in a different format that’s why the program encountered a problem when it processed its metadata. Try reinstalling the application to find out if the error was caused by accidentally corrupting a file.

Uninstall the program using the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel and then after that install it again. See if this fixes it. If not, visit the website again and then download the latest version. Another possible cause of this error is the patch being installed by Windows Automatic Update.

It is very common that as updates are being installed on your computer there are times these updates disables a program on your computer. If this happens, the best solution is to replace the program with the latest version to make it more compatible with your operating system because latest releases contain bug fixes and other improvements that are not available in your previous version.
