Startup menu on windows 8.1

Hi there,

I was getting seriously stuck on Windows 8 due to lack of the startup menu icon on the left bottom corner, a feature I had found useful in windows 7, after upgrading to windows8.1, the menu is back but not working, I have tried starting applications on it but nothing happens, I have to go t the tiled window to start my Applications from there, is there any way to make the menu work? how can I enable applications start without having to minimize my active windows and going back to the tiled start window?

Startup menu on windows 8.1

Hover your Mouse Pointer to Bottom Left of Screen, there u see Windows Icon, clicking on it will let u see Metro UI.

If u are still having problem, Try to Refresh ur OS and agin Update it to Windows 8.1.
