Hello,

Recently, I received an error message on APAR status selecting compute and the following singularity detected. I searched for the solution to resolve this problem but I could not get any resolution. Please give me an idea to fix the following error message. Thanks for any kind of assistance.

Open the CATAnalysis file in CATIA R18 SP05. Select “Compute / All” in the analysis workbench. The following error message will be generated during the computation: “Factorized matrix computation. Singularity detected in rotation [pivot too small]. Possible reasons: missing restraint or connection specifications. Display rotational vectors to diagnostic the problem.”

Next, open the same file using R18 SP04 and select compute. The file will now be calculated in R18 SP04 without generating any errors and without any alterations in the mesh. The output this time is different from the first one. The model should now be calculated without errors in R18SP05. This problem has already been fixed in CATIA version 5 release 20 GA level.

They said the problem was associated with tolerance. While doing the numerical tolerance test, the set tolerance was not correct. In CATIA version 5 release 20 GA level the tolerance value has already been corrected and the model will now be calculated without error.
