Shadow failed. Error Code 7044

I am getting an error message with Error code 7044 when I try to shadow a session with XenApp v6.0. How can I resolve this error message? Can anyone provide me the solution to fix this issue? Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi Walter,

This error occurs if either the shadower or the shadowee has a dual screen or multi-monitor system setup and the remote desktop connection has been set to use all monitors.

The error can be solved by changing the setting in the remote desktop to a single screen setup.

This change in configuration has to be done both at the shadower and the shadowee remote desktop connection wizards.

Once you have made the changes, try to launch a shadow session, it should work.

Have you ever made sessions disconnections? Have you installed the XA650W2K8R2X64014 hotfix? If are OK, then try to run the ''ICA Listener Configuration tool''. You can do that by going to the Administration Tool/ Citrix/ Administration Tool and try to edit the security. Then log off and log in again. Look, it is better to do this process on a test server.
