We use the internet address bar only to search for websites by using a domain name, but if we use a search engine to go to a website with the same domain name, it is rejected.
Please explain why this is happening.
I personally use Firefox as my main browser, and I never experienced anything like that. There must be something wrong with your browser. Tell me what version are you using?
Get the latest Mozilla Firefox version and install it. It should solve the problem. If still it happens, then go to drop down menu on top right search box side and go to "Manage search engines". After that, remove all the search engines and then add them again.
Restart your Firefox and search again. This will solve the issue. Also disable any additional add-ons because they might be causing hindrance in the search engines.
Normally the internet address bar is not meant to provide you search engine feature so it is better if you use google.com as your default homepage and then search on it.
