Portable contact export vcard from Gmail

Hi Joby, just follow these steps.

1. Go to your Gmail account.

2 .Click the contact link  under the mail heading on the left column

3. Check the box, to any contact you want to export and then click " more actions  menu on top of the contact list and choose "export".

4.  Check the vCard format radio button in "the which export format?"section and choose "export". Select a location on your computer so that you can save your  vCard files  and " when to save dialog  box files open" click " Save"

5.  Open the folder of your computer, where you saved your vCard files. Right click the vCard and select "mail recipient" from the Send To menu . New email message will open.

6.  Send the message to an email address that can be access through your iPhone

7.  Launch the mail application by tapping it's application on the home screen.  The iPhone automatically checks and download the new message with vCard attached.

8.  Scroll to the bottom of the message and tap the vCard attachment button and Tap "add contact" button and saved as new contact

Gmail will also allow you to export all contacts directly if you choose "all contacts button while exporting.
