MSVCR80.DLL Error When Opening Powerpoint

I keep on getting "MSVCR80.dll is missing" every time I open and use PowerPoint viewer on my Windows 7 machine.  It would even suggest reinstalling the application to fix the problem. I have not tried that yet. I will try to find solution to this problem before I reinstall the program. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem? Thank you!

MSVCR80.DLL Error When Opening Powerpoint

As the DLL file is missiong, this could have happened because,

1. Some other application while uninstalling has removerd it.

2. Some Viral infections might have affected, and your antivirus has deleted or quarantined it from the folder.

The solution to the problem is that you have to put the dll file in your machine in any of the environmental path.

Search for the file in the internet. If you get it, then download and paste  into your system32 directory.

Next, you can search for the file in another computer running the same version of power point. You need to copy that file into your system 32 directory.

Thanks.
