A lot of Microsoft security updates are in pending for installation

A lot of Microsoft security updates are in pending for installation, however, whenever I try to install these an error message always show up saying, "upload failed". When I clicked the link for help with errors, a message shows saying, "check your hard disk for errors." I did check the drive C and D but I did not find any errors.

Any suggestions or advices please?

A lot of Microsoft security updates are in pending for installation

I will suggest that you make sure that you are connected to the internet before you try doing the update. Some of the updates need to go online and download software packages from there so as to install them, and when you do not have access to the internet, then that process will not be possible to take place.

Another thing you will need to do is run the disk cleanup utility to remove any files that might be taking up a lot of space on your computer;

• On your computer, just click on start.
• And then type Disk Cleanup in the search field.
• Press Enter to open the clean up windows and the select to clean drive C:
