Hi,

I am trying to install SolidWorks 2012, student version on my windows 7, 64 bit machine. I install proceeded till 29% when it stopped and threw out an error “RollbackUnReg_DocMgrDLLxxxxxx”. I uninstalled the program and installed it again and getting the same error on another percentage. I tried to get the correct Visual C++ Redistributable x64 package and installed but of no joy. Please help.

Well, in order to install this do you have enough disk space or do you have administrative rights on the computer? One thing, you should not post the log files in a public forum as they contain the serial numbers for SolidWorks and associated modules.
Or, what you do is open your DVD case and take out the 64 bit version DVD, insert into the DVD drive and let this run. Else, copy the entire contents of the DVD onto your HD and try installing it from there. But before you do this, clean out the registry.
