What is the solution in solving an issue with my cp msi roxio application when a pop up keeps up appearing with a message that cp.msi cannot be find, therefore, incapacitating me from streaming television using Windows 7?
There are a couple different approaches to solving this problem.
First: If this is the first time the “cp.msi” cannot be found is popping up, you can do a “CTRL->SHIFT->TAB” and end task on any applications or processes that are running and are Roxio related.
Second: You can download CCleaner from https://www.cnet.com/ and make sure that it is setup to find and repair Registry errors.
Third: If the “cp.msi” cannot be found continues to pop up more than once, you can insert the Roxio Installation CD and see if Roxio can repair itself.
If you have downloaded the Roxio product, you will need 7Zip or Winzip to extract the installation file to a folder on your hard drive or desktop. You will then need to point Roxio to that location in an effort to repair the Roxio Product.
Fourth: If all the previous attempts fail. Use Control Panel: Program Feature or Add/Remove Programs to completely uninstall the Roxio Product. Run CCleaner and Reboot your system.
When the system has restarted, reinstall the Roxio Product.
