Hello Abayasingha41,

It's my pleasure to help you.

As you asked it is not difficult to do. Just press Ctrl + S on your Keyboard or manually you can click the 'Save' button on the Quick Access Toolbar, then a dialog box will appear.

Just give a path for the file to save and click save.

Do it and experience it.

Thank You,

It is not so difficult. You just have to follow some steps for your solutions:

1: There is an “Office Button” (if the version of your Microsoft Office is 2007) or there exist a “File Tab” at the extreme upper left corner of your screen. After clicking this tab, some kind of menu will seem to display.

2: In step 2, you just have to click “Save As” option from the menu bar which will appear. Then you can select any format which you want to save (for MS 2007). Doing this will open a "Dialog Box” and this will permit you to save that file wherever you want in your system.

3: You can name your file according to your will. The best name must have described your file so you can find it easily.

4: Just press “Save”.

I think so this solution may help you.

Thanks.

As I am using MS Office 2010 Professional, which create .docx file, as Office 2010 is backward compatible but older version like MS Office 97-2003 doesn’t support this file extension.

So that first is checking the purpose or the destination of the file for it is going to be created. If the user is able to use as it is created then fine just go to Office button, choose save, select the desired folder name the file and save it.

Else choose the file type for backward compatibility and do the above mentioned process.

Hello,

For saving the document to a folder or in another place like HD, portable drive etc, just click saves the button image. A new dialog box will open where you will put the location and your chosen file name to save the file with your given specific name.

There are other methods too to save a document. You can also save a copy of the file by clicking the option on Save As in the file menu and repeat the same process of giving the file name and location to save.

Press enter to finish shaving. If you want to save automatically the documents you are working while you work to recover them if problem of power failure of some other failure occurs, choose the menu of Options in the Tools menu and then click over the Save tab option.

Select the auto recovers option (Select time) in the check box and press enter. This will save the document as per given time. Remember this is not an alternative to regular save option. If you do not properly save the file after auto recovery all data will be lost.

Hello Abayasingha,

Use the Hot Key to save your MS Word documents that are Ctrl+S. Press it once your document will get saved. It's a good practice to save your document after a minute or two to avoid the data loss due to power failure or any other reason.

Thanks.

Hi Michele,

Try to check if your speakers are connected and turned on.

You can also check on the menu bar, click Tools > Options > Audio Settings.

Press ►. If you can hear a sound, it means your speaker is working correctly.

Check you're not on mute, and turn up any volume control knobs on your speakers.

Make sure that your call settings are correctly set up.

Check your call quality settings and ensure that no issues are identified in the Computer and Connection tabs.

I hope this can help you.

When you finish your MS document and save it, first you will see that if there are any mistakes, you can correct them and go to the top, there will be an option to “open”, select that and there will be option to Save, select that and save that.

The second step is after completing your document, close MS office. You will get an option of saving automatically, just click on YES and your document will be saved.

If you want to alter your document, just open your document and alters it, and after that open menu and click on save as. Your document will get saved.

How do you save a MS word document?

Hi,

You have two easy ways to do it, no matter what version of MS Word you use.

By pressing Alt+F+A in that order, you can save a file that has been just created (I mean there is no previous file with that name in the directory). You will be invited to choose a path and a file name.

The second way, which is also working for new created files, is to simply press Ctrl+S and you will also be asked to enter the path and file name. This maneuverer is also including the previous procedure, therefore this is a more common way to save a file.

Saving an already created file (previously saved at least once), Ctrl+S is enough and you will not be prompted to enter any other data.

I presume you are not quite new in computers and know how to choose a path and file name in the dialog box that Windows displays in such cases. If not, please let me know and I will guide you further.
