Hi Sajeeb,

Hope you will be fine. It is very easy to defragment your computer. If you are using windows XP, first of all you click on start button, click on all programs, click on Accessories, click on system tools and then select Disk Defragment. A window will be shown to you, in which you can see your different hard disk's partitions. Please select your desired hard disk partition and then click on defragment button. Defragment process will be start and it will take some time and finally it will display a report about its completion.

There is an other way to do this task. Double click on My Computer icon from desktop. Right click on your desire hard disk partition. Select properties, then select Tools tab and then click on Defragment Now button. It will start the defragment process.

If any more question, please write again.

Thanks,

Regards.

Hi this is very simple job that could be done by you. Follow the steps given below will help to defrag your partition or folder. Before you defrag your pc, you must consider that where you download and save all your data’s? If you keep those downloaded files in desktop or my documents, pc will be extremely slow. So you must change the path and the downloaded files to other partitions.

Now let’s see how to defrag the partition or folder. There are two ways to do the same activity.

1st step is:

1. Select the partition which you like to do defragment.
2. Right click on it.
3. Select the properties option.
4. Select tools options.
5. Finally you can see the option called defragment. Select it. The defragment interface will appear on the screen.
6. Select the partition and click defragment.

2nd step is:

1. Click on start.
2. Then select all programs.
3. Now select accessories.
4. After select system tools.
5. Finally you can see there is an option called defragments. Click on that option.
6. At last click defragment.

This is the simple way to do defragment. I hope these instructions will help you to do the work correctly. Thank you.
