How are you doing?

I am having a problem with iGuidance. I have the 2011 version of it. I got it from INAV. During the installation, an error message popped-up. Saying that I do not have enough space in my hard drive for an extract! How do I deal with this? Please get back to me if you have anything.

Thank you and good luck.

Hi Orlando,

This error you have reported occurs even if there's enough space in the hard disk.

It appears you tried to initiate the installation with manually extracting the contents of the zip file, in such cases the files are extracted as temporary files usually in the location pointed to TMP or TEMP environment variables.

There are several solutions to the problem you reported –

  1. Try to empty the contents of the temporary folder and try installing again.
  2. Point the TMP or TEMP variables to other locations which have adequate and then try installing again.
  3. First extract the contents of the zip to a location of your choice (a location where there is enough space). The extraction will result in 3 folders. disk1, disk2 and disk3. Run the setup.exe file in the disk1 folder.

Hoping the steps provided above will help you fix the problem.
