It’s very much easy to install Google Chrome in Ubuntu. You do it in several ways. You can use Software center to do this. Otherwise you can download .deb file of Google chrome. First one is easy step. Go to "Software Center" It will be in your "Application" menu. Then search for Google chrome. You will found Google chrome in there. Click it to install. Now you will found "Google Chrome" browser in your application list. In order to download Google chrome directly. go to www.google.com. Search for "Google chrome". click on that & download it from that site. You will find .deb file. By double clicking, it will install. I think Firefox is better for Ubuntu. Chrome is little bit slow in Ubuntu

Hi,

The following steps will help you install Google Chrome on your Linux OS:

  • First, you will need to download chrome to your Download Directory from https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
  • After that you will need to open the Terminal: Press  Ctrl + Alt + T.
  • After that you will run this command the following command: sudo apt-get install libnspr4-0d libnss3-1d libxss1 libcurl3
  • And then you will run the following command which is not a must: sudo dpkg -i './Downloads/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb'
  • And then you will press the "Super" Key and then search for Chrome.
  • Install it and have fun with using it!

Regards,

Carl
