Filename contains non-text symbols/characters.  When I opened My Documents I notice that there were files that had non-text characters as filenames.  I have no idea why it got there and what they were. I did try to click on it but could not open nor rename or delete it.  Is it some kind of virus?

I’m the only user of this computer and wondering if I have been infiltrated or something. I do surf the net often and I do have an anti-virus Avast the free version and have religiously updated Avast.

I hope it’s not a virus and it’s not serious .

Solution 1

Download and purchase a much higher version of your anti virus, this will give you more protection to viruses. Scan your computer and see if the files are still there when the anti virus finished scanning. Also look for other folders in your PC if it has the same kind of folders.

Solution 2

If you really don't know what to do, and want it removed because you can't afford the anti virus software. Then its time to reformat your system and then reinstall all of your program. This will surely remove this kind of folders in your PC. This is also a sure solution since it is seen in your My Documents folder.
